Finch Fire Fully Contained at 360 Acres

RENO, NV - The Finch Fire in the Red Rock area is now at full containment.

Sierra Front reports the Finch Fire is 360 acres and was likely started by lightning Wednesday afternoon. Three structures were called threatened originally, though it was unclear whether they were homes or outbuildings.

Chief Charlie Moore says the fire was along Chuckwagon Road, near where a fire in Rancho Haven burned earlier this summer.

Control is expected Friday night.
