RENO, Nev. (AP) - The last two of three finalists to become the next provost at the University of Nevada, Reno are scheduled to appear at open forums on campus next week.
Kevin Carman, dean of the College of Science at Louisiana State University A&M, had his hour-long forum last Monday in the bid to become UNR's chief academic officer.
The Reno Gazette-Journal reported Friday the other finalists are Mark Kornbluh, a history professor and dean of the University of Kentucky's College of Arts and Sciences, and Jeanette Roberts, dean of the University of Wisconsin's School of Pharmacy in Madison.
Kornbluh is due in Reno Monday and Roberts on Thursday.
Former UNR provost Marc Johnson was named school president in April after last year's death of his predecessor, Milt Glick.
