Reno, NV - All five suspects connected to the Storey County burglaries have been arrested. The fifth suspect, Joseph Young, surrendered to authorities Tuesday night.
According to the Washoe County Sheriff's Office, Joseph Young agreed to meet with detectives in the area of N. McCarran Blvd and Mae Anne Avenue around 7pm. Young was arrested and taken by Storey County authorities to the Storey County jail.
Young will be booked on Felony Burglary warrants.
This follows a standoff that lasted for several hours earlier in the day, near the University of Nevada. Authorities had received a tip that Young, who was the fifth and only suspect in the Virginia City home burglaries still on the loose, was inside the building.
SWAT and police had the building surrounded around 1 p.m., entered the building around 4:19 p.m., only to discover Young was nowhere to be found.
