CARSON CITY, Nev. (AP) - A Carson City family is grieving the death of their 23-year-old nephew and trying to bring his body back from China.
Kristy Garcia tells the Nevada Appeal her nephew, David Woolman, died Thursday in China, where he has been teaching English since last summer.
She's says the family is still waiting for his autopsy report to be translated into English.
In the meantime, they're trying to raise nearly $13,000 to bring his body home before it is disposed of by the Chinese government.
Garcia and Woolman's mother, Sheri Grell, grew up in Douglas
Garcia says their wish it to bury Woolman in the family burial plot in Genoa.
