RENO, NV - A retired IRS agent pleaded guilty Wednesday to bringing a woman from California to Nevada to be a prostitute.
Kemp Shiffer of Reno was indicted by a grand jury in September.
US Attorney Daniel Bogden says prostitution may be legal here, but it's still not legal to bring someone across state lines. He also says the woman was working with Shiffer against her will.
Shiffer will be sentenced in February.
He could get ten years in prison and have to pay $250 thousand.
