SPARKS, Nev. (AP) - Known best for devouring dozens of hotdogs at Coney Island, Joey Chesnut has set a new record at a barbeque rib-eating contest in Nevada.

The 29-year-old California native told the Reno Gazette-Journal ( he ordered 21 pounds of ribs earlier this week to eat for "practice."

Chesnut ate 69 hotdogs and buns in 10 minutes on July 4 to claim his record seventh-consecutive title at Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Contest in New York.
