Drug, Money Package Leads to Marijuana Bust

RENO, NV - A massive indoor marijuana growing operation was unearthed by detectives with the Northern Nevada Interdiction Task Force on Tuesday on the 3700 block of Falcon Way in Reno. A release from the Reno Police Department reports, "It is estimated that this operation was able to produce about 800 pounds of marijuana with an approximate street value of $2,000.000.00."

Detectives sniffed out the operation after intercepting a suspicious parcel containing a large amount of U.S. currency and prescription pills.

They secured a search warrant and executed it with the help of the Street Enforcement Team and agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration. Approximately 800 marijuana plants were located throughout the residence at different stages of growth.

Christian Lee Lindenberg and Michael V. Crook were arrested and accused of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of a Controlled Substance for Sales, Maintaining Residence for Unlawful Sales of Controlled Substance.
