Sparks, NV - Polcie have identified teh man killed when he was thrown from his car off Vista Boulevard and Wingfield Hills Road.

Curt Jordan, 44, was found in the middle of the street Tuesday around 5:09 p.m., unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation revealed Jordan was northbound on Vista in his Toyota Tacoma pickup at a high rate of speed according to several witnesses. As he approached a slight curve in the road by the sports complex, he drifted into the center median where he struck a large brick decorative pillar. The pickup then began to roll, and Jordan was ejected.

No other vehicles were involved, and he was the sole occupant of the truck.

There was no evidence on scene suggesting alcohol was involved, and toxicology reports are pending.
