CARSON CITY, NV - The Carson City Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery and two burglaries at convenience stores.

Detectives say about 4:30AM January 3rd, a male walked into the 7-Eleven at 3838 Highway 50 East. He walked up to the counter, pried open the cash drawer with a crowbar and ran off with about $100. Detectives say he used the crowbar to threaten the clerk.

He is described as 5'9" and skinny with a black knit cap, bandana covering the face, black hoodie zip-up sweatshirt, grey undershirt and dark pants.

January 18th, just before 7PM, a male walked into the Eagle Valley Market at 933 Woodside. He unplugged the cash register and walked off with it. It had about $500 in it.

The clerk says the thief was wearing dark pants and a black long-sleeve hooded sweatshirt with a white t-shirt over it.

February 2nd, just before 7PM, a male walked into the same Woodside store and tried to get away with the cash register, but was chased out by employees before he could get it.

He was wearing a white hooded jacket, white bandana covering the face and blue jeans. He had a crowbar with him. He dropped his Burton ski/snowboarding jacket on the way out.

In all three cases, clerks were in the stores, but not immediately next to the registers. The only weapon displayed was the crowbar.

Anyone having information is asked to call the Carson City Sheriff’s Office at 775 887-2008 or Secret Witness 775 322-4900.
