RENO, NV - A Reno 6th grader is back home after being hit by a car Tuesday morning.
Reno police say the boy was on his bicycle, riding on the wrong side of the street near Depoali Middle School. Witnesses say he made a u-turn in front a driver at the intersection of South Meadows and Wilbur May, and the driver knocked him off his bike.
He was taken to a hospital to be looked at for scrapes and bruises, but other than that, he's just shaken up.
Police say they don't expect to file any charges.
