Armed Robbery at the Cricket Store

Reno, NV - On October 1, 2011 at approximately 3:02 p.m. officers from the Reno police department responded to the Cricket store, located at 3600 Warren Wy., Ste. 104, on a report of an armed robbery.

The suspect entered the business wearing a hooded sweatshirt, mask, and gloves while armed with a firearm. The suspect approached the employee and demanded the employee open the cash registers. The suspect removed an undisclosed amount of money from the register and fled on foot from the complex.

Witnesses in the area observed the suspect run to an early 2000 dark brown Jeep Grand Cherokee with unknown Nevada license plates.

The suspect is described as: White male, mid 20’s, approximately 6’-6’1” tall, with a medium build. The suspect had dirty blonde or light brown hair. The suspect was last seen wearing black pants, a grey and black hooded sweatshirt, and black gloves.

Reno Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.
