Crews Mop Up Brush Fire in Panther Valley Backyard

RENO, NV - Reno Fire crews are mopping up the brush fire in Panther Valley that broke out just before 2 p.m. Tuesday.

The fire, located at 1655 Sage Hen was threatening homes but was knocked down quickly by fire crews.

A smoke plume was visible over the Truckee Meadows briefly.

No word yet on the cause of the fire.
