CARSON CITY, NV - Fire crews have contained a brush fire in the McTarnahan Hill area, five miles southeast of Carson City.
Sierra Front tells us the Tarnahan Fire burned south of Brunswick Canyon.
The Bureau of Land Management says new mapping determined the fire only burned 25 acres, down from the previously believed 100, and it's fully contained as of Thursday night.
No homes were threatened.
Investigators think lightning started the fire.
