RENO, NV - One person was sent to a hospital after a two-vehicle crash that closed North Virginia Street Wednesday afternoon.
It happened at the intersection of Virginia and Talus about 3pm.
Police say the driver of a sedan turned into oncoming traffic, and into a pickup. The truck went into a ditch and the sedan was badly damaged. Firefighters had to cut the driver out of the car.
That driver was taken to renown and is listed in stable condition. The other driver was not hurt.
Traffic was detoured around the wreck for more than an hour.
