RENO, NV - All lanes of 580 at the Spaghetti Bowl are back open after two crashes that happened early Tuesday afternoon.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says the first crash happened when the driver of a Jeep tried to move across multiple lanes from I-580 to EB I-80. The Jeep hit a barrier and hit a Subaru wagon, leading the Subaru to catch fire. The Subaru driver hurt his right arm when the airbag deployed; the driver of the Jeep isn't hurt. The Subaru had ammunition for .22 and .357 handguns that were not being carried in the car, and some rounds exploded in the fire.

The NHP says moments after that first crash, two northbound vehicles collided when the driver of a Lexus SUV changed lanes and hit a Honda sedan. No one is hurt in the crash.

All northbound and southbound lanes were briefly closed while the fire was extinguished and the crashes cleaned up.

The investigation continues and there is no word about any possible charges.
