SPARKS, Nev.--Still a few days away, the reno rodeo has competition for the event that attracts the most cowboys and cowgirls. Both packed Victorian Street in Sparks Saturday night for a little saloon hoppin'.
The 'Cowboy Crawl' started at six and was supposed to wrap up at 11, but many patrons told us they're staying out late.
The event was held for the first time last year on Memorial day, but this time it was scheduled to coincide with the rodeo.
"This event is Nevada because we all have a little bit of cowboy in us, and with the rodeo coming this week, its really really exciting because we love to dust off our cowboy hats and our cowboy boots and get out here," said Brita Muller.
The crawl started and ended at John Ascuaga's Nugget where patrons enjoyed country music, and they tell us it's a honky-tonkin good time.
