RENO, NV - An autumn storm blew through the Truckee Meadows area Thursday night, with wind and freezing snow and causing several accidents overnight and early Friday.

Highway Patrol troopers on roads in Reno and California were kept busy with spin-outs, rollovers, and cars into ditches.

In one crash north of Reno along 395 at Hallelujah Junction, five people were taken to hospitals, though their conditions are uncertain at this time.

Roads are expected to improve as the weather does through Friday.
