RENO, NV - Reno police have arrested a man accused of using alcohol to try to sexually assault a teenage girl.

32-year-old Iqbal Sidhu is charged with Open and Gross Lewdness, Battery with the Intent to Commit Sexual Assault, and Selling alcohol to a minor.

Police say they have been investigating allegations that Sidhu had recently been selling alcohol to minors in his store, the Grab and Go Market on West 4th street, and had grabbed or touched teenage girls, including a 14-year-old. Wednesday, detectives sent a female plain clothes officer into the store, posing as a girl trying to buy alcohol. When she met with Sidhu, police say he grabbed her breasts and sold her alcohol, thinking she was 18 years old. Sidhu was arrested for that and for crimes commited against the 14-year-old girl trying to buy alcohol on June 20, 2012.

The Reno Police Department is asking parents to please talk to their children about the dangers of attempting to buy alcohol and other drugs, as these illegal actions expose your children to dangerous people who prey on and victimize them. Police believe there are more victims of of Sidhu's and want to hear from anyone with any relevant information.
