"Its horrible, its horrible," says Reno resident Patrick Johnson.
You'd think Johnson was describing a painful dental procedure.
But for many like him, this is just as bad, a day of waiting at the DMV.
Actually this Monday was worse than any other day of the year.
Businesses could not be conducted for three days because of the Thanksgiving holiday, that means in essence customers are three days behind their schedule.
If they have to renew a driver's license, car registration, change an address and it has to be done before the end of November, today may have sounded like a good idea.
That was until we told them the flaw in their thinking.
"Feels like I've been here for 8 hours, and not getting paid for it, tha'ts not good," says David Mendez.
And if you think its bad here in side with the lines and the waiting.
It was just as bad outside, as customers jockeyed for a parking place.
"Parking lot is very crowded it was hard to find a spot we had to wait," says Stephanie Spinetta.
The DMV had encouraged people to use other ways to conduct their transactions, but even at the kiosks at the DMV there was a line.
Earlier this year additional machines were placed in local Scolari's for convenience.
No doubt many of these people would have loved to have had that information before they fought for a parking place, waited in line, and listened for their number.
