Sparks, NV - At Prism Magic, you can see where someone smashed the window on the front door - to get inside overnight. Owner Lauren Gifford noticed the mess when she arrived at her store on Pyramid Way on Tuesday morning. When she went to the cash register, she saw all of the money was missing. But she was even more disturbed when she realized the thief had taken an envelope full of concert tickets she was selling.

The burglary is similar to several others that happened in overnight hours in Sparks. Not far away, Paul's Market on Vance Way was vandalized. Surveillance video shows two hooded men used a pellet gun to shatter the front window and then climb through the bars. In this case, they just took cash. At the Baskin Robbins off Prater and McCarran, surveillance video shows a covered up thief using a pellet gun to try to break a window. He doesn't succeed, so he somehow breaks the glass in the front door and takes the money from the register. The same store was burglarized again 24 hours later. Other business targets include Marble Slab on North McCarran, Sneakers on Disc Drive, and PJ's on Baring Boulevard.

Sparks police have not confirmed if these cases are connected, but in all of these, no merchandise seemed to be targeted.
