Pleasant Valley, Nev. - Reno firefighters say they have a handle on a small brush fire that started early Tuesday morning in Pleasant Valley. The fire started around 2 a.m. near Laramie Drive and Highway 395.

Because of the strong winds overnight, there was fear that those flames could spread quickly, but firefighters got a quick handle on the fire.

Firefighters are not yet releasing information on the cause of the fire, or how much land was burned.
