RENO, NV - A brushfire burning out in the Cold Springs area is now about 80 percent contained, and about 240 acres have burned so far, according to Sierra Front.
The fire near Mud Springs Road started just after noon Sunday and grew quickly. It created a lot of smoke but never actually threatened any homes.
Firefighters hope to have the fire fully contained Monday night. The cause hasn't been determined.
