RENO, NV - It's time to combat bullying and to have some fun while doing it.
Bowling Down Bullies, an anti-bullying event hosted by the SAVE Foundation, will take place at the Grand Sierra Bowl located at 2500 Second Street, on Saturday, March 15, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
The organizers of Bowling Down Bullies wanted to help spread awareness of the increasing trend of people bullying others, and to attempt to find solutions to this problem, according to an event organizer.
The event organizer says bullying isn't just an individual's problem, it's a problem for the entire community.
They say Bowling Down Bullies is a fun way to address the problem, while pulling the community together.
Admission for Bowling Down Bullies is $20. The event organizer says this covers two bowling games, shoe rental and a chance to win prizes.
The top score prize is a $500 college scholarship.
