RENO, NV - A boil water order is over for an area of southwest Reno following a loss of system pressure Tuesday that impacted more than a dozen homes in the Roseview Lane area. The temporary loss of system pressure included gas and water lines. Those utilities were quickly restored, but a county water crew inadvertently damaged a gas main while investigating a water leak. Both systems had to be shut down to facilitate repairs.
The boil order was designed to last until all water samples were deemed healthy with no problems, and when samples tested clean Thursday, the order was lifted. Washoe County Department of Water Resources officials are in the process of delivering notices to all of the affected homes.
Addresses affected were:
All Roseview Lane addresses (12935 Roseview Excluded)
1900 Rockhaven Drive
13135 Fellowship Way
