SPARKS, NV - A new Blind Onion recently opened its doors in Spanish Springs on Los Altos Parkway.
This is the fourth Blind Onion that's popped up in Reno and Sparks.
The owner spent a lot of time finding things for the restaurant. The bar is made from wood from a hundred-year-old barn. He bought antique windows, he even made part of the restaurant from wine barrels.
"The reception on this one goes beyond any imagination I had. I mean it's been so great and makes me feel much more secure about the future, especially this neigborhood's," says owner Dean Christopher.
Customers enjoy the new location too.
"It's local and good food, and the people that work here are the friendliest ever," says customer Raylene Jennings.
Raylene says her favorite part about the pizza is the crust.
The restaurant has a full bar and wine on tap.
It's had to hire ten extra employees because the restaurant has been so busy since opening.
