CARSON CITY, NV - The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Carson City District is holding a public workshop to discuss the management of wild horses.
On Wednesday, July 31, a workshop will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Fish Springs Volunteer Fire Station to discuss the wild horses that are located several miles outside the Pine Nut Herd Management (HMA) south of Carson City, according to the BLM.
These particular wild horses migrated about 10 miles outside the HMA to the Fish Springs area and are affecting private property, according to the BLM.
The Fish Springs volunteer fire station is located at 2149 Fish Springs Road in Gardnerville, NV.
