ELKO, Nev. (AP) - A 26-year-old Utah woman has been ordered to
stand trial for attempted murder and nearly a dozen other felony charges in connection with a multi-state crime spree that included the attempted kidnapping and shooting of a Nevada woman.
Elko County Justice of the Peace Barbara Nethery ruled Thursday there was enough evidence to bound Angela Hill over for trial in district court. She's accused of shooting Rattanaphorn Koemanivong of West Wendover while trying to kidnap her and steal her car outside a casino on New Year's Eve.
Police say Hill and her 24-year-old accomplice Logan McFarland of Colorado allegedly stole a car in Utah and drove to West Wendover earlier that night.
McFarland also has been charged with kidnapping, carjacking, robbery and larceny.
No trial date has been set.
