RENO, Nev. (AP) - A mother and her two children have been sent
to the hospital after an aggressive fire in a Reno apartment.
Police say the intense flames and smoke hampered their efforts to rescue the two children from a basement apartment on South Wells

The three were taken to Renown Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Twenty people have been displaced from the 12-unit apartment complex. The complex is expected to be closed for 24 hours until
inspectors can determine whether it's safe.
The American Red Cross is helping the displaced residents find shelter.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
