RENO, NV - A Reno apartment complex was briefly evacuated overnight.
According to the Reno Fire Department, a car was fully involved in flames at 1:30 Tuesday morning on the 2000 block of Highview Court. The car fire started in a car port, which is the first level of the three-story apartment complex.
Officials say residents were evacuated, while firefighters searched for possible flames inside the apartments. The third floor had to be ventilated because of the smoke.
No injuries were reported and everyone was allowed back in their homes. Officials don’t know if the cause of the fire was electrical or something else.
