UPDATE: The lockdown at Cold Springs Middle School has been lifted and most of the people who were stuck on campus have left. Reports of a man with a gun interrupted family movie night on the north valley school's campus.
RENO, Nev. -- An event at Cold Springs Middle School is on lock-down and police are setting up a perimeter after reports of a man with a gun.
Washoe County Sheriff's Deputy Armando Avina tells KOLO 8 News Now that Washoe County and Reno Police are helping school police to set up a perimeter to prevent people from entering or leaving the area.
At this point information is still sketchy, but no one seems to have been hurt. Reports vary from a man holding a gun to a man with a gun in a holster. There is no official word on how many people are on the school campus but it could be as many as 200. School administrators are on the campus as well.
