Air Races Organizers Plan Memorial for Crash Victims

RENO, Nev. -- Organizers of the National Championship Air Races say they would like to create a memorial to those lost in last year's mass casualty disaster.

Reno Air Racing Association members say they would like to have some type of memorial at the Reno-Stead Airport... perhaps at the exact spot the modified World War Two P51 Mustang crashed last year.

Association representatives are talking with family members of the victims about what would be appropriate.

Organizers hope a memorial can be constructed by the start of this year's races on September 12th.
