Air Could Cause Health Problems for Some Because of Red Rock Fire

RENO, NV - The Washoe County Health District is warning that unusually sensitive people should consider reducing prolonged or heavy exertion.

Elevated levels of particulate matter due to smoke from the Red Rock Fire are being observed in Washoe County. If you are unusually sensitive to the smoke, take appropriate precautions such as remaining indoors with the windows closed and air conditioning on and reducing prolonged or heavy exertion during outside activities.
