RENO, Nev.—During tonight’s game at Aces Ballpark, the Reno Aces Baseball Club will honor Olympic gymnast Jake Dalton, the organization announced today.

Dalton, a Reno native and 2009 Spanish Springs High School graduate, just returned from the Games of the XXX Olympiad in London where he competed on the US Men’s Gymnastics squad.

Dalton finished fifth in the men’s floor exercise and was part of Team USA’s fifth-place finish in the team competition. He was a Gold Medalist in the floor exercise and vault at the US National Championships in 2011 and 2012.

At the University of Oklahoma, Dalton was the 2012 NCAA all-around and parallel bars champion, while taking silver in the team and floor exercise and bronze in the still rings and high bar.

Dalton is set to be honored by the Aces in an on-field ceremony during the first inning of tonight’s game against the Round Rock Express. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. PT.
