Freeway Copper Thefts in Reno
A rash of copper thefts on our local freeways is leaving drivers in the dark. The Nevada Department of Transportation says areas of US 395 between I-80 and the Mt. Rose junction have been particularly hard it.

RENO, NV - A rash of copper thefts on our local freeways is leaving drivers in the dark. The Nevada Department of Transportation says areas of US 395 between I-80 and the Mt. Rose junction have been particularly hard it.
NDOT says to be specially cautions through these dark portions of highway.
70% of Reno NDOT’s time is spent repairing and preventing copper wire theft.
