3-Year-Old in ICU, Mother's Boyfriend Arrested
Police were called in to investigate possible child abuse after hospital staff discovered a child suffering from hypothermia and internal injuries.

Police were called in to investigate possible child abuse after hospital staff discovered a child suffering from hypothermia and internal injuries.
It happened at 6:20 p.m., Sun.,, police were called to Renown Medical Center on the report of a suspected child abuse. The 3-year-old victim was in a hypothermic state at the time of arrival at the hospital and was suffering internal injuries.
It was soon discovered that the boyfriend of the victim’s mother, 32-year-old Daniel Basham, was the sole person entrusted to care for the child while she was at work.
Police determined Basham was the only one caring for the child at a home on Flagg Drive in Reno at the time of the victim's injuries. He has been charged with child neglect.
The child is currently being treated in the Pediatric ICU at Renown.

Well I too know this man personally and he is not a good person ! He has no job, doesn't support any of the children he has brought into this world and mooches off women who are willing to have him. He is incapable of telling the truth and it's about time he has been caught . This scumbag has been flying under the radar for far too long and deserves to be in jail so he can no longer hurt innocent women and children !
I know the kids involved, yes more than one. They need to go home to their daddy's...how does this mom keep getting away with murder. This is the second child abuse incident involving her kids!
This is so sad and unimaginable in many ways. I have known Dan for many years and this not like anything he would do. That poor baby. I agree with Anom there has to be more to the story
