The California Department of Transportation Caltrans is alerting motorists that currently there are 1½ to 2-hour delays on westbound Interstate 80 at Farad near the Nevada State line due to an early morning accident at the Acid Flat Bridge construction project.

Major eastbound delays are also anticipated. Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes.
