RENO, Nev. (AP) - The Nevada Humane Society in Reno is looking for dozens of homes for dozens of cats who were surrendered by a
man facing eviction because of the animals.

Humane Society officials say the distraught man delivered 46 cats on Saturday, then returned on Sunday and Monday with more. In all, he brought 54 felines, which are now up for adoption.

A veterinarian says most are in good health and friendly, though a few will require some special care or medical treatment.

The animals range in age from 3 weeks to 12 years.

Visit the Nevada Humane Society for more information.

Uh, how does one's neighbors not notice how many cats he has, and the smell that had to come with this many cats? I had a neighbor years ago who had taken in a number of cats, and you couldn't help but smell them after a period of time, even when the wind wasn't blowing.
