RENO, NV - Final preparations are underway at the Physicians' Spouses' Rummage Sale at the fairgrounds exhibit hall in Reno.
Each year, members of this group donate more than 2,000 hours collecting goods and displaying them for the annual event.
Those who come here will pay $3 at the door to get in on Saturday, but organizers say they will be blown away with what they find.
“We have some wonderful things for Easter if you want to stop and get some decorations for Easter. We have beautiful jewelry in our treasurers department. We have fun things in the unique boutique. You must, it's a must-stop for something in the unique boutique burning man section,” says Kim Bacchus with the Physicians' Spouses' Rummage Sale.
Bacchus says the goal is to raise $60,000 this year.
She says corporate sponsors have allowed them to rent the hall, making even more money available for local charities and nursing scholarships.
Doors open at 8:00 Saturday morning; the event goes until 4 in the afternoon.
