Reno, Nev. - If you use the Moana on and off-ramps from 395, you're in for a change in the coming months.
Starting this September, NDOT plans to begin construction on what they're calling Nevada's first "Diverging Diamond Interchange." It will introduce a new traffic pattern to the intersection.
Once it is finished, the project is expected to increase the traffic flow, and improve safety.
If you want to give your input on the new diverging diamond interchange, you can do that on Thursday afternoon.
NDOT is holding a public information meeting from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at the Neil Road Recreation Center. There will be a formal presentation about the project at 5:30 p.m., and the public is invited to attend the meeting to give input on the project and the construction schedule.
