DALLAS, Tex. – Southwest Airlines wants to make sure passengers show up for their flights or have to pay for them anyway.
In a new policy announced by the airline, Southwest Airlines will add a no-show policy for nonrefundable fares not canceled or changed before the departure.
That means a customer with a nonrefundable fare who doesn’t use or cancel their ticket funds, the remaining reservation will be canceled.
This goes into effect September 13.
