MORGAN HILL, Calif. (AP) - A Northern California YMCA child care worker accused of touching three girls in a sexual manner is facing additional charges involving two other girls.
Santa Clara County prosecutors filed additional sexual assault charges against 20-year-old Nick Lhermine of Morgan Hill on Tuesday.
Lhermine was previously charged with sexual acts with a 6-year-old girl and possessing child pornography. Investigators soon announced that they suspected Lhermine of two more similar acts on girls ages 5 and 7.
The latest accusations involve two more girls, one 7 and the other 3 ½ years old.
Morgan Hill police Sgt. Carson Thomas told the San Jose Mercury News investigators uncovered the latest cases when they went through rosters of children that were under Lhermine's care, and contacted parents.
