VISALIA, Calif. (AP) - Police have arrested two more people in connection with the double homicide of a couple at a home in the San Joaquin Valley city of Visalia.
Visalia police officials said Tuesday they had arrested 28-year-old Betssy Jessica Huerta and 22-year-old Olivia Solorzano. It was not immediately clear whether they had attorneys.
Two men - 21-year-old Adrian Castillon and 30-year-old Reyes "Ray" Garcia - were arrested previously. They have pleaded not guilty to murder with special circumstances. The special circumstances include murder during a robbery, murder during a burglary and multiple murders.
Tulare County investigators said the two men killed 59-year-old Marie Rogers and 58-year-old Jerry Murillo at the couple's home in mid-July. They have released few other details about the case, including how the victims died, though Visalia Police Chief Colleen Mestas called the murders gruesome.
