MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN, CA - Two people are being treated for minor injuries from a helicopter crash near Mammoth Wednesday.
The Mono County Sheriff's Department got a call about the crash about 12:30PM near Benton Crossing Road.
Several agencies responded and found the chopper on fire, starting a small brush fire, which burned about an acre and a half. The two occupants were taken to Mammoth Hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined and is under investigation by the FAA and NTSB.
