Two Arrested for Marijuana Possession After Traffic Stop

TRUCKEE, CA - Two California men have been jailed in Nevada County, accused of possessing marijuana.

According to the California Highway Patrol, an officer noticed a rental truck weaving from lane to lane Sunday night on Interstate 80 and pulled the driver over. While discussing the situation with the driver, the officer says he smelled marijuana and searched the truck. He found about 68.5 pounds of the drug.

23-year-old Steven Soper of Rohnert Park and 33-year-old Johnmichael Debettencourt were booked for possession for sale and transportation.
