SAN DIEGO (AP) - Police say stunt men for a superhero movie celebrating Comic-Con saved a woman who was dangling from a 14th floor balcony in San Diego.
Lt. Kevin Mayer told U-T San Diego that the woman was attempting suicide and threatening to jump from the condominium when she was spotted by the trio who worked on "Kick-Ass 2."
Gregg Sargeant, who owns a Los Angeles-based stunt company, says he and two co-workers saw a woman who appeared to be threatening to jump from a building so they grabbed some harnessing rigging and ran into the building.
Sargeant says he snuck up on the woman, who was hanging from the building by her arms when he grabbed her
Mayer says the woman was upset over a breakup and had been drinking.
