SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. -- A non-injury shooting in South Lake Tahoe a month ago has finally led to the arrest of a suspected gang member, but police want your help finding two more suspects.

South Lake Tahoe Police officials say they were investigating a shooting between pedestrians and a person inside a vehicle. It happened on June 27th near Bonanza and B Street. They found that a shooting had occurred but there was no evidence of anyone being injured.

During the course of the investigation, officers got search warrants on the suspects, 19-year-olds Jahem Barton and Cesar Caro, and 21-year-old Jamal Darrion Coffer.

Wednesday morning, officers served the warrants on Barton and Coffers' homes, but they were not there and appeared to have left the area. However, officers did find evidence of gang activity in the suspects' apartments.

On the morning of Friday, July 27th, officers served a warrant on Caro at his home near Glenwood and Fairway. They arrested him and during the search found evidence of gang affiliation. Caro was booked on attempted murder charges; his bail is $150,000.

Barton is wanted on charges of participating in a criminal street gang and carrying a concealed weapon. Coffer is just wanted for questioning.

If you have any more information on the locations of Barton and Coffer, the South Lake Tahoe Police Department asks that you call them at 530-542-6100 or Secret Witness at 530-541-6800.
