San Francisco Shooting Leaves 1 Dead, 1 Injured

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - San Francisco police are investigating an early-morning shooting that left one woman dead and another critically injured.

Sgt. Gordon Shyy says the shooting occurred about 2 a.m. Sunday in the city's tech-heavy South of Market neighborhood.

KTVU-TV (http://bit.ly/181RyaU) reports the responding officers found the two women with gunshot wounds inside a car parked in a lot at Sixth and Jessie streets. Investigators were interviewing patrons at the nearby OMG nightclub.

Police say the two were taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where one was pronounced dead and the other remains in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
