SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - San Francisco police say a woman is hospitalized with what are being described as "life-threatening injuries" after someone poured a flammable liquid on her and set her on fire.
Police spokesman Officer Carlos Manfredi says officers were called to city's Bayview District a little after noon by people who reported a woman screaming.
When officers arrived they found a women suffering from what Manfredi described as "severe burns."
The woman, believed to be in her 20s, was taken to a hospital where she's being treated at a burn center. Her name has not been released.
Police did not immediately release any suspect information.
