OAKLAND, Calif. (AP) - Police in Oakland are investigating a 13-year-old girl's report that she was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by a group of strangers.
Officer Johnna Watson says the girl told investigators she was walking in east Oakland on the morning of June 6 when a burgundy four-door vehicle pulled up next to her and three men forced her inside at gunpoint.
According to Watson, the girl said the men then sexually assaulted her before dropping her off just blocks away from Children's Hospital Oakland. She was taken to the hospital after someone saw her and called 911.
Police have not made any arrests.
