MONO COUNTY, CA - Rapper Frank Ocean is facing marijuana charges in California after a traffic stop on New Year's Eve.
A Mono County deputy sheriff pulled over the driver of a speeding BMW on Highway 395 south of Reno. The driver was identifed as Christopher Breaux, whose stage name is Frank Ocean.
The deputy noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the car, and found Breaux was carrying a small amount of the drug. Breaux was cited for possession of marijuana and released.
The incident has been forwarded to the Mono County District Attorney’s Office for review.
